Geez, I wish we had a cartoonist in the bunch. Picture this:

Stage: Broomfield City Council Chambers. Puppet Pinnochio ("Cooper" written across his chest)standing at the mayorial chair, with a really long nose and strings up to a puppeteer ("Interlocken" written across his chest). Pinnochio's dad ("BF Citizens" written across his chest)could be standing off in the audience section with an expression of disappointment - holding his face in his hands.

Someone recently mentioned that they were in the BF library and NONE of the Feasability Study copies were there ....

They didn't know if that meant they've been pulled or that they were all checked out ... or what.

Hmmmmm. ... interesting either way, since our group has pretty much finished with checking them out, copying them, etc.

As some of you may know, one copy of one legislative tape was missing from the State archives last week. Wow, are we dealing with some unscrupulous criminals here or what?

What you are dealing with...
Egotistical, paranoid individuals who as a group cannot stand to have their decisions or comments challenged.

What you are experiencing with the appeal is what every citizen group experiences in BF. If you disagree with the council; your term or the committee is ended. Do not get in their way. It is an extremely unpleasant experience. This is an embarrassment that they cannot brush under the table; or disband at their free will. And, because you are outside the city; they will use the network of other municipal governments to end your efforts.
