Is Westwoods An Established Neighborhood?

Yes, Westwoods is a fairly new development. Construction began in 1992 with three different developers building a variety of Colonial Style homes. The first homes were completed in 1993. In 1995, Capano Development Corporation continued the finalized phases of Westwoods. Construction was completed in 1999. It was that year that the maintenance corporation was turned over to the homeowners of Westwoods.

What "type" of neighborhood is Westwoods?

Westwoods has become a family friendly neighborhood. With children of all ages in abundance, our neighborhood has become a close-nit development with a Maintenance Corporation, Monthly Newsletter, Social Committee, Block Captains and a Welcome Wagon.
We have annual summer block party picnic, Easter Egg Hunts, Halloween Parades, Winter Bonfire and other social events.

It Takes a Village

Westwoods is a diverse neighborhood with many transplanted "Delawareans" from around the country and the world!
The type of neighborhood that looks out for each other, our homes and children.
The houses in Westwoods have a quick re-sale and have maintained a steady increase in value since completion.
