Food Service in Exchange for Community Service
SHARE Colorado, a Catholic Charities outreach, has been active in the Colorado community for many years. A unique concept, the idea is to have the ability to purchase foods in exchange for a couple hours community service per month (this can range in any volunteer activity from babysitting to sharing a meal with a neighbor). Take a look at the information page from the link provided. There is a SHARE location in Wheat Ridge, food is ordered and picked up once per month as well.
