Wildwood Homeowners' Association Achievements

Sidewalks

(1) There were no sidewalks on the East Side of S.Polk from Longleaf Drive to Windy Meadow Drive. We contacted the Desoto City Manager and presented our case and it was apparent to him that sidewalks were needed for many reasons of which Safety was utmost in our minds. (He was able to find enough money to complete this)

(2) Along Beltline Road from Wildwood Drive to just beyond the new Police Station there were no sidewalks. We brought this to the attention of the City Manager over and over again. After about a year he was able to find the money necessary to have sidewalks installed not only for the area we mentioned but for most of Beltline Road going toward I35.

Neighborhood Street Lights

The association worked with the city to have additional street lights installed throughout Wildwood. This was a joint effort with the Wildwood Homeowners's Association, City Manger/Planners and TXU.
