The following are the next Free Clean-Up Days:
Effective January 8, the Recycling Center has relocated to 1170 Grove. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. It is FREE to all Wyandotte Residents. The following can be recycled:
Newspapers, Magazines, Office Paper
Household and Car Batteries
Glass bottles & jars
Plastics (1 & 2)
Metal cans
Cardboard/Boxboard
Oil (2 gal. or less)
Grass Clippings, Leaves, and Brush (no roots or logs)
Office Paper
Household batteries may also be recycled at Wyandotte City Hall in the Engineering Department and Wyandotte Municipal Service.
The Curbside Yard Waste Program is available, but you must sign up by March 1 of each year. The cost is $1.79 per month or 8 months for $14.32. If interested, contact Area Disposal/Waste Management at (313)292-0800 for more information.
