Recognition due

I think the Mayor and City Council should formally recognize our student athletes for their successes. The Bears have had a great season and deserve to be acknowledged for their contributions to their school and to the city. I wish there was a better alliance between the city and the schools, in particular the public schools. They are the ''public'' schools, they are a reflection of the city as a whole. We all need to be reminded of that.
Happy and sad

I too followed the Bears, as I always do. We all can be proud of the way they played.

As far as the taunting of the fans from Southgate, lets just say we got wahat we gave. There was many games where our fans did the same to the opposing team. Take the Riverview game for example. Very good on the court, not so good off.

I would also like to say that I am a bit disapointed about the way the season ended. I would never have thought that they would have lost so soon in the state playoffs. I really believed they had a chance to make it to the regional chanpionships.

We are loosing several of the good players so it will be interesting to see how they do next year.

Good luck to all of the players, college etc. And GO BEARS next year.

Don't worry Alex

You have a lot of returning talent! Wyandotte's bench wasn't called ''The World's Greatest Bench'' for nothing!!
Both Rudy brothers will be returning...as well as Knapp and Barry not to mention a couple of JV guys who are very good as well.
You'll be in for a pleasant surprise.
