Greetings

I hope summer is going great for everyone. We are all settled into the house and have meet some great people. Thanks to my surrounding neighbors for such warm welcomes.

A little about our family...

My name is Brandi and I own Valley Home Preschool, I have worked for the school district, in a preschool, and in-home childcare for over eight years now. I love teaching and being with children. We are also respite care providers through the state of Iowa.

Manuel graduated honors from a top Tech school in Mexico with a BA in Business and attended the U of I's Entrepreneurship program and is currently employed at Iguanas in North Liberty where he worked as a general manager for the last five years.

We have two wonderful children. Manny, who is six and our daughter Adah who is four.

Manny enjoys swimming, his Wii, and hiking. He has begun a great interest in fossils and nature. He loves to observe the birds and other animals in the area. His favorite bird is the Cardinal which seems to be showing up more lately in the area.

Adah likes to dance she is enrolled with the Kate Carol program in Iowa city which has many seniors attending Harvard this year on dance scholarships.   She is a great teacher and very dedicated to her students. Adah was the youngest last year and she did terrific on stage at Coe College. Adah also enjoys art and painting. We can't go a day without bringing out some type of art project.

Summer...

This summer we have been taking it easy. Our family enjoys boating and camping, along with  meeting with family for picnics and outings. This year a lot of people have came in to town so we enjoy not traveling too much and hosting at our unique home. Manuel's mother traveled all the way from Mexico to stay with us for awhile. Next year when the children are older, we visit her : )

The children are happy to just be in the water this summer whether it be at the beach or in the pool. We are looking forward to one more night of camping before school starts, and a couple more hiking trips. Of course we have our annual Adventure land trip, its just not summer with out packing the car for a day trip to Adventure Land. 

 This fall we are excited for Manny to start at Central. We have heard good things from other people in the area and look forward to being involved with the school.

 We are happy to be apart of a great Neighborhood and look forward to meeting new people!
