The City of Memphis-Office of Community Affairs provides the citizens of Memphis with the tools needed to create positive change within their communities. This office encourages citizens to improve their own neighborhoods by collaborating with various City of Memphis departments, other non-profits, faith-based organizations, businesses using neighborhood/ community service programs. The Office of Community Affairs offers workshops and trainings on how to create neighborhood-based community and civic associations and provides other technical assistance to empower neighborhoods to foster prositive, productive, and effective change in their communities.
