About Us

Michele and Mark have been a couple since February of 1998, and were recently engaged to be married on April 27, 2002. We bought our house together on March 1, 1999.

Michele Thomas (soon to be Franco) is from the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. She has lived in Atlanta for over ten years, and is the manager of a retail store called Throb in the Little Five Points community. She is accredited with modeling in five worldwide publications to date, as well as several local publications. You can often find her picture in the Creative Loafing in one of the many Throb, Inc. affiliate advertisements.

Mark moved to Atlanta from Miami at the age of nine, and started elementary school right here in Decatur. He is the Director of Loss Prevention for Alpha Risk Service located in Vinnings. He provides safety and liability training and consulting specifically for the apartment industry. His work is related to insurance, as loss prevention plays a major factor in determining insurance premium rates. You may see Mark riding around the neighborhood on a green and loud dirt bike motorcycle. He is only trying to warm up the engine for mechanical work.
