I have taken a long time in updating this page, but I'm finally getting to it.
Our neighborhood has improved quite a bit since the last time I wrote about. We have fewer "tagging" incidents in the area. We have had two "crime marches" in the past few months. This has definetly had an impact in the neighborhood. N.A.I.L.E.M. and G.I.T.E.M., along with the Phoenix Police department has been a very important assest for us. I am very proud to be associated with both these orginizations, as well as working more closely with the police department.
We even added one more Block Watcher. Things may go a little slow, but they are getting done.
"Make A Difference Day". April 17, 1999, will bring volunteers into our neighborhood to help us "spruce " it up and do some painting. We are looking forward to this day. If anyone would like to join us, they are more than welcome. Constitution PTSA is also joining the forces to help.
Good nieghbors like we have make it easy to be Block Watchers.
