reba, that guy is really a piece of work isn't he. I agree with you that paying taxes does not qualify anyone for anything except a refund if the pay too much (I think that applies only to income tax.) What his taxes do is to pay for the street he is speeding on, the police officers who uphold the law to include speeding and reckless driving, the court where he can pay his fine, and all kinds of other government services. I can't believe he was crude enough to talk to you like that. I got his license number; I'll pass it on to a friend who can get some heat put on his ***. We also ought to take up a collection of pennies and give him a refund on the amount of taxes he pays on the street (notice I said pennies.) I can't believe anyone could be that crude; some people just don't have any class. Or maybe I could just go back to being a witch and put a spell on him.
By the way, I hope you all realize that I was not making fun of you. I applaud your efforts. I was totally shocked to see 5 of you out theire in the freezing weather for as long as you were I kinda felt guilty sitting in my warm SUV.. I had to move when I saw Larry coming toward me because I want to remain incognito. It is more fun that way; kinda like a ghost writer maybe? I'll have to admit I have been moved by the spirit about these ignorant, selfish drivers endangering other people. Lead feet, if you want to drive like a NASCAR wannabe, put a number on it and go up to Sparta and swap paint with the pros.
Let's get more folks in this effort. As they say on Law and Order or some place, "Let's take back out streets."
