First, thank you all for putting this reorganization in high gear!  Good job Ladies and Gentlemen!  I can't believe the mayor is actually supporting your efforts.  Maybe he recognizes the gravity of the steamroller that you all have fired up.

I have seen several negative posts from this "ntheheavns" person and have come to believe that it is our mayor himself with a double sign in or one of his cronies.  I do believe if this is a real person and sncere that he or she would be figure out a way to get in contact with one of you instead of just making waves.

Question:

Since the mayor has public safety as one of his areas of responsibility, is it up to him to get this item put on the agenda?  That probably needs clarification to insure it does not fall through the cracks by not getting on the agenda.  Who should write the proposal?

I do not know the mayor - I have never met him.  I have only seen his picture on this site.

I did apologize at one point for my negative posts and thought I was doing much better keeping any negative comments to myself.  Because of my negativity in the past, I did not wish for you to know who I was.  I was/am afraid of negative words stirring up again.  That is my fault and something I must live with.

As far as alerts, I know that my spouse would not be happy with emails and because of my job I am not able to receive phone calls (during 6:00 am - 4:30 pm).  I was curious as to how the alerts were going out.  I will seek out my captain and see if there is another way to communicate alerts.

   auto-dial message

What block of what street do you ive on? 

In addition to receiving alerts you must also commit to first call 911 when necessary and then call your block captain.  Can you do that?

I hope you are sincere and not wasting our time.  Whatever you did in the past is in the past.  We have to live today and in the future.  People who live in the past have no future.  I could care less what you said yesterday; what is important is what you do now,  Do you know your block captain?
