Blueridge contains single family homes in the price range of $300,000 to $800,000. The oldest homes in the neighborhood were built about 1989 and new homes continue to be built, with a number of lots remaining available. When fully developed, the neighborhood will total about 174 houses.
Blueridge is conveniently located adjacent to the Johnny Cash Parkway in Hendersonville. It is on the north side of the road between Calender Lane and the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club. Old Hickory lake is less than one half mile to the south. The Rivergate shopping center is eight miles to the west.

The Blueridge Subdivision Homeowner's Association was chartered on June 20, 1989 as a not for profit Corporation. The Association was organized to provide an entity for the operation of the residential properties in Blueridge Subdivision. It has the following powers:
To make and collect assessments against members to maintain, repair, replace, and operate the Association property.
To purchase insurance on the Association property and to protect the Association and its members.
To make and amend reasonable regulations respecting the use of the property in the Development.
To enforce, by legal means, the provisions of the Declaration, the Charter, the Bylaws, and the regulations for the use of the property in the Development.
All funds and the title to all properties owned by the Association shall be held in trust for the members.
Until the year 2000, the Homeowner's Association was controlled by the developer who was the only voting member of the Association. In accordance with the bylaws of the organization, the year 2000 will be the first year that every property owner will have an equal vote in the election of the leadership of the Association.
The bylaws provide for a three member board of directors who are elected annually by popular vote of the members. The board members then select a President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
