Town of Braintree

Dan Quirk

Posted in: Braintree
There has been a lot of discussion on this site re: Quirk. At least he is paying taxes to both Quincy & Braintree, after the yard was shut down for many years.

Cashman, who has a shady background, is whinning that he should be given another chance @ the shipyard. I say too bad, you came up short. better luck next time.

Dan is a business man in this free enterprise country we live in. Good for him to play the game of monopoly in building his empire. We have checks and balances that he do so withing local, state and federal guidelines, per se, but those whining (not whinning) about Dan Quirk or Cashman should zip it. This is AMERICA, folks. Those who have, get more. Those who have not, get scraps of what's left. Become a Have instead of pouting as a HaveNot! Go you Dan, build your empire. Pay your taxes, develop your shipyard, park your thousands of unowned vehicles, conduct your maritime trade port at the shipyard and profit as we all will one way or another. Fugitabout whiners and blabbies!

Could have notified Schools

Agree that Quirk has the right to develop the shipyard and Cashman should have ponied up more cash if he wanted it. However, his team could have had the decency to notify the nearby schools of the implosion plans. My 1st grader at Ross came home talking about how scared he was when the ground shook and there was a big boom.
Better Question Would Be...

...exactly what did YOU do to prepare YOUR 1st grader for the implosion? It was on the front page of the Ledger last night. You could have talked to him and explained what was going to happen. You could have mentioned it to the teacher/principal at Ross when you dropped him off this am.
Or do you always expect others to do your parenting for you?
