Building a Healthier Mesa is a partnership between Mesa neighborhood residents, city institutions, and agencies.

BHM's mission is to build strong and stable families and neighborhoods by supporting the development of the skills and leadership of neighborhood residents.

BHM has the ability to:
?˜ Bring together people who share common concerns, such as the need for a safe playground or community center for kids; or ways to reduce neighborhood crime.
?˜ Provide way for you and your neighbors to develop new skills.
?˜ Give you the opportunity to be useful in your neighborhood by contributing your exiting skills to help others and yourself.
?˜ Develop relationships that will give you a sense of belonging to the neighborhood.
?˜ Bring many available programs in health, education, emotional wellness, communications, and more to your neighborhood through one of ten BHM Teams aimed at assisting neighborhoods achieve their goals.
