Camelot Estates Townhouses Neighborhood Association (CETNA) has about 72 Townhomes. It is a non-profit organization. Dues are voluntary and are $35/year per household. Of course, without your participation we will be able to do very little to improve the neighborhood. We have an executive committee who meets to solve problems and make plans for improvements which are voted upon and implemented by our members. We welcome your participation at our next meeting.
Our Neighborhood Association is formed with the belief that by joining together we can find solutions to common problems and enhance the enjoyment of our neighborhood more effectively than would be possible for each of us alone.
Our goal is to become friends with our neighbors, to inspire a community spirit of helpfulness, goodwill and neighborly values, to further common goals, to promote neighborhood safety, to clarify and ensure observance of the Owner’s Certificate and Restrictions (Covenants), and strive to enhance the wellbeing of all residents.
We strongly desire all residents to participate, express their opinions and have a voice in the actions and activities affecting our neighborhood so that the Neighborhood Association is able to truly benefit all residents.
To these ends, we pledge ourselves to work together using cooperation and good will to address issues and problems affecting the common good of all residents. Our Association pledges itself to be guided by this Mission Statement in all of our actions and activities.
* Have you noticed improved yard maintenance on your block?
* Have you seen your neighbors turning on their porch lights and alley lights all night and wondered why?
* Are you concerned about vandalism, theft or assault in your neighborhood?
* Are you worried about your property values declining because of poor maintenance in the neighborhood surrounding your property?
* Do you wonder how to encourage your neighbor to mow his grass or quit blocking access through the front parklanes without creating illwill?
* Do you work on hard on your landscaping and wonder if anyone ever notices?
* Does it bother you that you don't know the names of the people next door or across the street? Do you wish you had friends in your neighborhood like the ones you had growing up?
* When you are out of town, do you wish you had someone to ask if they would pick up your newspaper or mail? Someone who would keep an eye on things?
The Camelot Estates Townhouses Neighborhood Association plans to work on these projects and more in the months ahead. However, we cannot succeed without your support and participation. If you are waiting to see what the Association does for you, it will be too late. You can be an important part of the Association! Please make our neighborhood a better place for you and your family.
