The quiet community of Clermont consists of 17 semi-custom homes on both sides of just a single street (Clermont Rd.) with the only entrance at Wilson Rd. and ending with a cul-de-sac at the southern end. The land was originally part of a tract owned by the Bartsch family. Construction took place in 1960. Homes are well maintained single family dwellings in an established, conveniently located neighborhood in Brandywine Hundred. The community is about a mile east of Concord Pike. All homeowners are members of the Clermont Civic Association.
