I am all for a safer place to live, I buy more ammo every chance I get.
I was only suggesting a better system. Having worked in LE in other cities we had a "dispatch" report broken down by patrol divisions. If a call comes into dispatch it is obviously logged and available the following day. With Chief Carters limited schedule and very limited officers under his command it would seem that having access to all calls in "division 3" (or whatever patrol division/sector we are in) would increase his awareness to what happens in the off hours, and by doing so would limit his cell phone ringing with the same calls from Woodlawn park residents
Metro should always be 1st call in our area is my understanding. I didn't even think metro dispatched our chief i thought the sheriff dpt did?
If Louisville Metro doesn't have this system maybe we should have a beef with them :-).
