The Douglas Downs neighborhood was once wooded land owned by _______________. When the first families moved into the neighborhood Alpharetta was considered to be "The Sticks." Many of the first homeowners were often questioned by friends and family why they would want to live that far away from everything.

We all know that has changed. Alpharetta and North Fulton County has grown into one of the wealthiest areas in the entire country based on per capita income.

Douglas Downs continues to be a "hide-a-way" from the hustle and bustle of everyday living in Atlanta. Many homeowners travel 1 hour or more on Georgia 400 everyday because they enjoy the tranquility of our neighborhood.

Douglas Downs now consists of 40 homes with a close connection between each neighbor.
