Welcome
The Fort Worth Runners club is a 501(c)3 non profit corporation. The club is dedicated to promoting recreation through the sport of running.
We are a 1,000 member running club based in Fort Worth.
The club offers 13 road races a year ranging from 5k races to 15 mile races. Races are held on the Trinity River Trails off of University Drive behind Ol' South Pancake House. Registration fees are $5 for members and $8 for non members. Runners under 13 years of age run for $1. For dates of races and other information, check our website at www.fwrunners.org.
Other benefits of the club include a monthly newsletter, monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of the month (check website for location), post Cowtown Marathon Party, Christmas Party, Club Picnic, discounted running apparel with club logo and discounts at Lukes and Fort Worth Running Company.
The club offers two bus trips to races in the North Texas area each year and group rates on trips out of state. This year's trip is to Las Vegas.
We are a member of the Road Runners Club of America and as such each member receives a national quarterly magazine with articles of interest to runners.
Our website offers a week by week list of all road races in the local area, statewide and nationwide. Links to other national running sites are included as well. Local running groups are listed for those seeking training partners
The club ranks among the 20 largest clubs of its type in the nation.
