And I agree you cant stop a dog from barking but I understand being woke up at 3 in the morning.Personal I dont mind it I feel safe knowing that if a dog barks at a odd time that maybe someone might be outside that should not be there,but everyone is differant.

I was agreeing with you.And as for signing my name ''good grief'' thats my busy not yours.If you dont want people to have comments on your subject why dont you stay off the message board.That is what it is for a calm talk between neighbors about issues in the neighborhood.

Here are the discussions from three of the meetings where a WP noise ordinance was reviewed.
May 2006
Tim will e-mail a copy of the Metro Louisville noise ordinance to council members. Mike would like to see some kind of noise ordinance established for Woodlawn Park.
June 2006
Tim said that all council members had received a copy of the Metro Louisville noise ordinance. The code enforcement board has been given notice that a city ordinance may be forthcoming. Mike will bring up the noise ordinance at next month?’s meeting. Becky had an article on ordinances affecting barking dogs.
July 2006
A discussion on a noise ordinance for the city based on Metro Louisville?’s noise ordinance was initiated by Mike. Mike stated that after researching the matter, he was inclined to withdraw his motion to pursue it. There are many details involved such as defining ?“nuisance?” and determining a time limit. Mike made a motion to withdraw establishing a noise ordinance within the city and Jeff seconded. The motion passed.
