The Office of the States Attorney, Sixth Judicial Court, has selected the Lealman Community to participate in a program whereby juvenile offenders livening in the Lealman area will appear before a panel of Lealman residents who will recommend diversion options.
The COMPASS Community Justice Board will be comprised of trained volunteer citizens who make recommendations on what type and how many hours of community service a young offender must perform to restore the community’s trust, quality of life, and confidence in the offender’s future behavior.
