Lost Oaks Subdivision

The Lost Oaks Subdivision was initiated as a Planned Unit Development (P.U.D) in the mid 80’s by Monarch Homes. Pulte Homes and McKinney Homes were additional builders within the subdivision. The subdivision was eventually taken over and completed in the mid 90's by CENTEX (Fox & Jacobs). There are a total of 126 residences and a fenced park/playground area with a covered pavillion.
The Lost Oaks Homeowners Association was incorporated in 1985. It is a mandatory association comprised of 126 residences. The governing body is a five member Board of Directors elected by the association membership. Your current directors are:

About our association

About Lost Oaks.

The Lost Oaks Subdivision was initiated as a Planned Unit Development (P.U.D) in the mid 80’s by Monarch Homes. Pulte Homes and McKinney Homes were additional builders within the subdivision. The subdivision was eventually taken over and completed in the mid 90's by CENTEX (Fox & Jacobs). Lost Oaks is comprised of 126 residences and a fenced park/playground area with a covered pavillion.

Our homeowners Association

The Lost Oaks Homeowners Association, Inc. (LOHA) was organized as a corporation in 1985 under the Texas Nonprofit Corporation Act. The LOHA is a mandatory membership association comprised of the 126 Homeowners. Membership is appurtenant to and may not be separated from ownership of any Lot, which is subject to assessment, by the Association. Each and every Homeowner, by home purchase, automatically becomes a member of the Association and agrees to abide by the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (DCCR) and the Bylaws, which govern Lost Oaks.

The purpose or purposes for which the Corporation is organized are to promote the health, safety and welfare of the members, to provide for the maintenance, repair, preservation, upkeep, and protection of certain common properties and facilities situated in Lost Oaks Subdivision, which are more particularly described in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions.

The affairs of the Association are locally managed by a Board of five (5) Directors in accordance with the DCCR and Bylaws. All Board members are Lost Oaks Subdivision homeowners and are Members of the Association. The number of Directors may be changed by amendment of the Bylaws of the Association. This elected Board of Directors exercises the powers and privileges necessary to perform the duties and obligations of the Association as set forth in that certain Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Lost Oaks Subdivision applicable to the property and recorded in the Official Public Records of Real Property of Bexar County, Texas. The Board of Directors is required to fix, levy, collect and enforce payment by any lawful means, all charges (current fees $175.00/annum) or special assessments pursuant to the terms of the Declaration; to pay all expenses in connection therewith and all office and other expenses incident to the conduct of the business of the Association.
