if we had no rules we would not be living in a HOA WE WOULD BE SOME WHERE ELSE WHEN YOU SIGNED UP FOR THIS YOU WERE GIVEN THE RULES AND BYLAWS NOT WRITTEN BY THE MILITARY BY HOME OWNERS LIKE YOUSELF AS LONG AS YOU LIVE HERE THERE IS GOING TO BE RULES GET USE TO IT I think this is what the original poster was referring to. We have all these rules and half of them are not being enforced, what a joke, if not every rule or bylaw is being enforced what good is it, it is all BS, there are several rules that are broken on my block alone day after day and nothing is being done, and please don't tell me Jeannette is doing her job because she is not, if she has so many homes to check then it seems like she needs more help, coming around twice a month is not doing the job. I would love to go on one of her runs with her and see exactly what she is looking for and so on.

I quess you missed the box that all adults had to check if you were over 13yrs old. Based off of your childish rude remark to a simple polite question, just proves even more as to what kind of neighbors/ correction people who live in Promontory Pointe. Let me save you the response " that maybe I should move". Listen carefuly.... My family nor myself will be moving anytime soon. We've come to the unserstanding that we live amongst a bunch of JERKS or people of have the God complex. We need to focus more of this wasted time to overall neighborhood safty. Since Promontory Pointe is trying to live up to that "Premiere" neighborhood status we should adpot a policy from Alamo Heights that forbid parking on the curbs. Basically if you have a drive way then park in it.

Dear Hawaii, If you are a Peak at Promontory homeowner , then you got my update via email (also posted on this site) that informs homeowners that I have spent a great deal of time working on updating our fines policy/covenants enforcement along with the rest of the Board. The new version will shorten the warning period and take quicker action. It will be formally sent to you soon. With all your knowledge and passion, the Board would love to have you contribute to an HOA committee or run for the Board this Fall. Hope you will consider it. Julie
