The Neighborhood is closer to most things than you think.

Mondamin Presidential Association located north to south Hickman Road to Clark Street, east to west 13 th Street to Martin Luther King Jr. PKWY.
The Neighborhoods central geographical loaction offers it's resdents a wealth of opportunities.
*Closer proximity to beautiful downtown Des Moines a few in the downtown area the Botanical Center, Civic Center, Convention Center, Veteran's Auditorium, the main Des Moines Public Library. The YWCA and YMCA, Sac Taylor Stadum Iowa Cubs Baseball, Health Clubs, Shopping. The Court Avenue adult Recreational area Fine Dinning, Top of line Night Clubs and much more. There is a lot more planned for this area.
Medical Care: To the North we have Broadlawns and Veterans Hospitals. To the South Iowa Methodist and Mercy Medical Centers ( Mercy Is considered one of the top Heart centers in the country.) To the East we have Iowa Lutheran and Metroplitan Medical Centers.
*Recreational Areas: To the north by the Des Moines River we have a boat ramp for the water
siker or the fisherman. Loaded with picnic and playground areas for just enjoying the day. To the Northeast we have a New Aquatic Center with tennis courts, ball fields, a jogging track. A very large bike and hiking trail system that runs along the Des Moines River and all through the coutny and working on getting it throuhg the state there is a Marina a little more to the east.
* Shopping Centers: To the northwest we have Marle Hay Mall, Hay Market Mall and Hay Market Square are all within about thirty minute drive. You cvan reach any of the major retail shopping Centers in less than a hour from the area. We have a Fareway grocery store to the north east, A HyVee grocery store to the north west.there are many reasons to locate yourself in the area.
* Public Transportation: We have three MTA bus lines that service our area that provide service to the downtown area and to malls in the western part of the city. The easy access to the MacVicar Freeway loop or I 235 provides easy access to all major Interstates north and south or east and west.
