Parkwood Manor/Parkway Estates

Our History....

Parkwood Manor/Parkway Estates consists of 2 subdivisions that are merged together as one great neighborhood. Parkwood Manor was developed by Mr. Alonzo Cantu and its subdivision was recorded back on July 25, 1983. With only 2 entrances off of North 23rd street, one on Robin Ave. and the other on Sandpiper Ave., taking either street to its end would bring you to 25th lane which connects both Parkwood Manor with it's adjacent neighbor Parkway Estates. Nestled between the streets of Robin Ave. and Sandpiper Ave. is 23rd Lane which is met by beautifully shaded Swallow Ave. and ends at 25th Lane as well.
Parkway Estates was developed by Mr. W.D. Moschel,V and its subdivision was recorded back on March 2, 1994. It consists of only one street which is located on Thunderbird Ave. with its entrance off of N. 23rd street and ending on 25th Lane which is adjacent to its neighboring Parkwood Manor Subdivision. Both subdivisions are combined into one great neighborhood that consists of 140 homes.

Our association is a non-profit organization whish consists of homeowners, renters and property owners who share an interest and desire to improve the quality and safety of our neighborhood and is funded by it's members with the support of the City of McAllen Planning Department.
