Are you any better

In response to your ''Are you any better'', You first question ''are you any better'' is an opinion and we all have one. Thats why we live in America.

My question to you is, how does electing a new board have anything to do with the gates getting broke. We are working on getting them fixed, and trying to get the best for our funds. That is a slow process as the companies to repair them are not getting bids back to us very quick. They will be fixed as soon as we get the bids in.

My next questions, are you atending any of the board meetings and did you vote at the election on July 2? If not why?

The newsletters are being started again now that we have a board.

As for two people from the same house on the board, the CCR's do not forbid this. The only thing the CCR's say is that there is one one vote per house.

If you have any other questions, call me. My number is posted.
go to the meetings

what does a freezing pool have to do with a new board. do you ever go to the pool as i go almost every day and it is not cold. a new board cannot control a broken gate. we have many of the same members that were the orginal board and the gate still got broken and it continued to get broken with the second board. as for the cars on the street yes it is a problem but we all live here and must do a part to help control the problem. do you attend the meeting, if not why? if so do you bring up the issues that you have. maybe some people would be better off living in a subdivision that doesnt have a hoa.

Sunrise Owners' Opinions

I have just finished reading the Sunrise message thread going back to 17 June, and feel compelled to make my own observations....

1/ The board was not overthrown by vigilates. It resigned under protest and threat of recall by concerned fellow resident owners who are unanimous in our view that despite many good things which have occurred, the Community has suffered over the past year. Those declines have been documented and communicated, and recovery will also be documented and communicated going forward.

2/ The new Board has never made the claim that the previous group mismanaged the Community. It is the absence of management (particularly financial oversight) which caused this change. Our previous direction was driven by those with a personal agenda, and would lead the Community down a path which any informed observer cannot accept.

3/ The damages we see to our Community (including the gate) is a reflection of the lacks oversight with which the Community has been run, and is being addressed. I suggest anyone who feels slighted by the changes to the previous Board need only attend a few HOA meetings (let alone actually volunteer to help) to see the truth.
