CRIME REPORT; 05-13-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

At about 4:30 P.M. yesterday afternoon, Officer Hambright was responding to a call in the 300 block of Portland.  While responding to this call, he heard a male subject next door yelling and using profane language in a threatening manner.  He contacted a 44 year old male and warned him about his language and causing a disturbance.  The male subject continued to yell and use profane language.  He then took off his shirt and began to charge another subject at the residence.  He was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

 

At about 12:42 A.M. this morning, Officer Garcia stopped a vehicle in the 3500 block of Sayles for reckless driving.  Upon contacting the driver, a 22 year old male, the odor of alcohol was detected coming from the driver.  The driver did perform the field sobriety test and failed.  He also provided a breath sample that was over the legal limit.  He was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

 

Finally at about 2:55 A.M. this morning, Officer Lazirko observed a vehicle sit through a green traffic light in the 4300 block of South 1st.  Upon contacting the driver, a 20 year old male, it was found that he was passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle.  After waking the driver up, it was found that he was intoxicated.  The driver did perform the field sobriety tests and failed.  He also provided a breath sample that was over the legal limit.  He was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence as he was under 21 years of age.

CRIME REPORT; 05-16-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

At about 11:00 A.M. yesterday morning, Officer Brannon stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 3100 block of Ambler.  Upon contacting the driver, a 37 year old male, a driver’s licenses check showed that he was suspended.  He was arrested and charged with Driving While License Invalid.

 

At about 5:10 P.M. yesterday afternoon, Officer Herd responded to a criminal trespass call at a south side establishment.  Loss prevention personnel had a 31 year old female who had previously been warned of criminal trespass detained.  Upon arrival, it was found that she had been warned.  She was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.

 

Finally at about 5:55 A.M. this morning, Officer Garcia responded to a suspicious subject call in the 500 block of E.N. 16th.  There he contacted a 21 year old male who was extremely intoxicated.  The male subject had been knocking on doors of people who did not know him.  While the officer spoke with him, he was unable to spell his first name and stated that he thought he was on North Willis.  He was an obvious danger to himself and was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication.

CRIME REPORT; 05-17-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

At about 3:33 P.M. yesterday afternoon, Sgt. Grothe responded to a call of a disturbance in the 1100 block of Elm.  Upon arrival he contacted a 39 year old female who had been yelling obscenities at two male subjects.  When Sgt. Grothe spoke with her she began yelling at him and continued using profane language.  She was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, it was also learned that she had a warrant for her arrest.

 

At about 4:02 P.M. yesterday afternoon, Officer Holmes responded to a call of an accident at Mockingbird and Ambler.  Upon arrival a 36 year old female was contacted in the driver’s seat of one of the involved vehicles.  She appeared very intoxicated and was asked to perform the field sobriety tests and failed.  A blood specimen was taken and she was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. 

 

Finally at about 1:20 A.M. this morning, Officer Guitar stopped a vehicle in the 3700 block of South Clack for a check welfare.  As the vehicle was pulling over the door came open and the driver threw something out the door.  After contacting the driver, a 35 year old male, the item he threw was located and found to be marijuana.  He was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

CRIME REPORT; 05-18-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

At about 8:20 A.M. yesterday morning, Officer Odom observed a 39 year old female driving a vehicle in the 2500 block of Maple.  This female was known to have local warrants and a suspended driver’s license.  She was stopped and arrested for Driving While License Invalid and a local traffic warrant.

 

At about 11:55 P.M. last night, Officer Volirakis stopped a vehicle for crossing the center line in the 4400 block of South 1st.  Upon contacting the driver, a 23 year old female, she gave the officer a false name that was actually her sister name.  Her real name was learned and it was found that she had local warrants for her arrest.  She was arrested and charged with Fail to ID and the local traffic warrants.

 

Finally at about 4:15 A.M. this morning, Officer Peavy stopped a vehicle leaving a business reference an alarm call in the 4400 block of South 1st.  Upon contacting the occupants it was learned they were involved in a disturbance at the business.  The passenger of the vehicle gave a false name and date of birth when the officers asked for his information.  He real identity was eventually learned and he was arrested and charged with Fail to ID.
