CRIME REPORT; 6-15-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday afternoon at about 6:25 pm Officer Jeremy Holmes was dispatched to a call of a wanted person in the 2200 blk of Vogel.  Officer Holmes contacted a man who initially identified himself using his brother’s information.  The man’s true identity was discovered and he was arrested for Failure to Identify.  There was also a warrant hit on this male subject out of Minnesota that was awaiting confirmation. 

 

Last night at about 9:55 Officer Josh New responded to a disturbance call in the 6100 blk of S 7th.  A female subject had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend and stabbed him with a folding blade knife.  This female subject was placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault Family Violence and transported to the Taylor County Jail. 

 

And Finally at about 12:this morning Officer Damian Hutchinson stopped a car in the 1600 blk of N 20th for a traffic offense.  The female driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  She was placed under arrest and transported to the Taylor County Jail.  She refused a breath test.  She was charged with DWI Second Offense.

CRIME REPORT; 6-16-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

This morning at about 12:10 am officer Josh Davis stopped a car in the 400 blk of Cypress going the wrong way on a one way street.  Officer Davis contacted the driver who appeared intoxicated and administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  This male subject failed and was placed under arrest for DWI and transported to the Taylor County Jail.  He refused a breath test. 

 

This morning at about 1:30 am Officer Kimberly Scalf stopped a vehicle in the 600 blk of Presidio for failing to dim headlights.  A K-9 was called to the scene and alerted on the car.  A small baggie was found in the car containing a white crystalline substance that tested positive for meth amphetamine.  A female passenger in the vehicle was arrested for Possession of Meth Amphetamine. 

 

And Finally this morning at about 2:45 am Officer Mary Guitar contacted a man at a residence in the 2000 blk of S Clack.  There was an active protective order in force that prohibited this male subject from being at the residence.  He was placed under arrest for Violation of a Protective Order and transported to the Taylor County Jail.

CRIME REPORT; 6-17-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at about 5:15 Detective Chris Adams interviewed a male suspect in a burglary of a residence in the 900 blk of Minter Ln.  A fingerprint was matched to the suspect and he was also picked out of a photo line-up.  The male suspect confessed to the burglary and was transported to the Taylor County Jail and charged with Burglary of a Habitation. 

 

Last night at about 10:45 Officer Chris Collins saw a vehicle that had been reported as missing in an Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle case and contacted it in the 600 blk of Cockerell.  Officer Collins located a .45 caliber pistol in the vehicle as well as small quantity of marijuana and 18g of cocaine.  A male subject was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. 

    

And Finally at about 10:35 last night Officer Mack Garrett was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 300 blk of Mobil Drive.  Officer Garrett contacted a victim who had obvious injuries.  Officer Garrett contacted a male subject in the residence and placed him under arrest for Assault Family Violence.

CRIME REPORT; 6-20-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday morning at about 10:30 am Officer Stan Meiser stopped a car in the 500 blk of Texas for no seatbelt.  The male driver had 5 outstanding traffic warrants. 

 

Last night at about 12:30 am Officer Damian Hutchinson stopped a car for failure to maintain a single lane after observing the car spin its tires leaving a parking lot.  The driver appeared intoxicated and was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Test.  This male driver failed the tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.  He refused to provide a breath sample.  He will be charged with a third offense DWI.
