CRIME REPORT; 6-24-11 Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs… At about 3:45 yesterday afternoon Officer Marc Valentine was dispatched to a disturbance in the 1500 blk of Mesquite. A male defendant there had reportedly held a 73 year old woman in a head lock and had her pinned against the wall. The defendant’s sister struck him with a bat trying to get him to release the 73 year old woman. The defendant then struck the sister in the face and head with his fists causing visible injuries. This defendant was arrested for Assault Family Violence and Injury to the Elderly.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at about 3:05 am Officer Mike McGrew wad dispatched to the 2400 blk of S 28th for a trailer blocking the alley.  Officer mcGrew discovered on arrival that the trailer was stolen out of Midland, Tx.  A man arrived and claimed that the trailer was his.  While officer McGrew was questioning the man he took off running and was caught a short time later.  The man is charged with Theft, Evading Arrest (second offense), and Driving with an Invalid License. 

 

At about 12:20 this morning officer Adam Richardson was dispatched to a shots fired call in the 2600 blk of Nonesuch.  Witnesses reported that a man had fired several shots at passing cars inside the apartment complex.  There was a woman in her apartment injured by the shooting and later care flighted to Fort Worth.   Officer Richardson contacted a male suspect and placed him under arrest for Deadly Conduct.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at about 1:03 pm agents of the Special Operations Division stopped a vehicle driven by a male subject in the 1300 blk of S Pioneer.  A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of meth amphetamine.  He was arrested for Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

 

Last night at about 8:15 pm Officer Jay Tollison stopped a car at S 16th and Butternut for expired registration.  The driver was found to have 10 outstanding traffic warrants.  This female driver was placed under arrest for the warrants. 

 

And finally at about 12:05 am Officer Andrew Valdez responded to a call of the theft of an air conditioner.  Officer Valdez spotted a woman walking down the alley in the 1100 blk of Hickory pushing a shopping cart.     The shopping cart contained the stolen air conditioner.  She was placed under arrest for Theft.

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at about 1:30 pm Officer Ricky Carroll responded to a disturbance call in the 1200 blk of Danville.  Officer Carroll contacted a male subject who was shown to have an outstanding warrant for Theft by Check.  He was placed under arrest. 

 

Last night at about 6:45pm Officer Martin Walker responded to a disturbance call in the 1500 blk of N 20th.  Officer Walker contacted a male subject who had an outstanding warrant for Burglary of a Habitation.  He was placed under arrest.
