The signs are free. Becasue they are free, they are hard to get. The Metro is very slow in getting them out to the neighborhoods. This is what I heard at the last meeting.

Sir, thank you.  I have seen a couple of your posts and have heard from one of your neighbors that you are a true gentleman.  You should run for the City Commission; I would vote for you.  Since you apparently go to those meetings, do you know why they can not post the proposed budget on this site rather than keeping it cloaked in a shroud of secrecy?  It makes me wonder what they don't want us to know.  There is a weird lack of interaction between our commission and us.  I see and read about a lot of interaction between the Metro Council and the people, but ours avoids us like we were a pit bull.  Why is that?

My guess is that it is still in flux and is not ready to be proposed. But that is just my guess. Thank you for your kind words.

In the May Mayors Message posted the Tuesday after our last meeting I listed the proposed changes to the budget from this year. Which was posted on ths site last year and Kitty knows about it.

The info kitty wants has been on this site since May 10.
