Mayor, you are beating the Devil around the bush.  The info I asked for has NOT been on this site since May 10 or any other date.  I asked that you post the COMPLETE PROPOSED BUDGET.  Is that too hard to do? Apparently it is or you have chosen to be arbitrarily stubborn.  A COMPLETE PROPOSED BUDGET would show ALL of the items and exactly how much TAX MONEY is to be set aside for each item.  I consider it an insult that you refuse to show us item by item EXACTLY where our tax money is going.

And Bob, the fact that he responded to you but not to several others that I have seen post on here about other items shows that he plays favorites.  That is not your fault.  He picks and chooses everything and that is not equity under the law as it is SUPPOSED to be.  Again, I am insulted.

Actually unless I am totally mistaken the budget received first reading at the May meeting.  Does that not mean that it has been proposed.? Larry, is the budget within one meeting of approval? 

I agree it would have been "nice" if the entire proposed budget had been posted on this site after the first reading. Such a posting would put everything out in the open and give people an opportunity to see and discuss the proposal for the expenditure of our tax money. 

We just observed Memorial Day with speeches, music and flags placed on graves.  Constructive dialogue is a healthy feature of our form of government in this country and unfounded criticism has a way of disappearing in the light of day..  Failure to openly acknowldge the right of a free people to know what their government is doing by action as opposed to talk is a slap in the face of those veterans and their families who have served and are serving to protect a government based on consent of the governed. Let us observe Memorial Day every day with complete transparency in each and every level of government.

You were at the meeting and you know that we did not vote on the budget. The second reading will be at the June meeting on the 13th. Then it will be voted on. All interested citizens can attend and speak about it.

I posted in my May Mayor's Message the changes from the current budget which are minor. The current budget is still available on this site. There is not much math involved to see the difference. 

After the Vote the new 2011-2012 budget will be publised in the newsletter and on this web site as required by law.

It may NOT "take much math" but it also doesnt take a computer genius to copy and paste the 2011-2012 BUDGET onto the website for those interested RESIDENTS to view.  Some residents can't attend the monthly meetings, but we still have a right to know the proposed budget before it's voted on.  Are you saying that ONLY the "RESIDENTS" that attend have a right to know?

You have NOT posted a Complete 2011-2012 Budget on this site.

Sorry Mr Mayor.   I have to respectfully disagree with you.  You're avoiding the issue.  Just post the D@*& Budget already.
