One main news stories today is the death by car of a 70 year old woman.  If you read the story carefully, the scenario could have just as easily been one of the Moorgate residents getting mail out of her or his  mailbox.  That is why I do not understand the lack of action by mayor laryl and the Bellemeade City Commission.  Cold.  Very cold.

Two new stop signs will be installed making the intersection of North Chadwick, Dorchester and South Hampton near Shelbyville Road a four way stop.

That totally SUCKS!  Who's going to enforce it?  A couple of noisy residents rattle and everybody jumps.  Did you guys pole the other residents in the CITY to see if it was something that everybody wants?  There are alot of people that can't make it to the meetings to express the other side.  The problem is NO ENFORCEMENT of the current speed limits & stop signs.  I repeat AGAIN if we had police patrol to enforce the laws, and make know a presence of enforcement, it would deter the traffic!  AND another stop sign isn't going to help the residents whos homes have been ROBBED.
