that's true, but most people are referring to homes that have weeds ALL summer long. Like at Big Bear Loop and the corner of Big Bear and Hampshire. It seems like the last phase of BBF has more of these homes.

It does seem as if the last phase has more of these homes. These are the ones that sold higher than the first few phases. Is it not interesting that the houses that people paid more for are the ones that are not being kept up. Makes you wonder if they got in over their heads. You obviously cannot say that someone who buys a lower priced home will not keep it up because the first few phases look good and were much cheaper when the first homeowner bought those homes.

I don't think it has anything to do with how much they paid for their house. It has more to do with pride and how you want your house to look. Some people just don't want to put an effort in to making their house look nice. But They will, when they go to sell.

Empty houses

Several of the bad looking yards that you're referring to are around houses that are sitting empty or are owned by people that don't even live in the house.
