It all boils down to appearance
Good for you to talk to the Realtor. The issue is they could care because they have other houses they can sell. They have to be hungry to sell this one.
How can anyone say that something has to appeal to you in order for you to have interest.
Why is so much money spent on advertising, research etc..to market a product.
If you put a picture of a turd on a bottle of Bud, would it sell?
Just another reason we need to hold those banks accountable for the deed restrictions they are violating while trying to sell this hose. They own it, they should be responsible.
It is so simple, yet so hard to do.

The realtors do not ned to maintain the empty homes. That is not their responsibility. Their responsibility is to sell the house. You should not be trying to put the burden on someone who does not deserve that. If a realtor has 10 houses for sale with dandelions, you are telling me he/she should take care of all of those lawns? When would they have time to sell the home when they are so busy keeping up yards. It is the bank's responsibility. The realtor does not have to tell the bank to kill the weeds. It is our HOA, not theirs. Let Rickert send the bank a letter if they feel it is necessary. If the bank took care of the two empty houses, there would be two less houses for the crabbers to complain about.

How stupid are you?
As was said in the previous post the bank needs to take responsibility. The real estate sales person needs to work with the bank, as any other homeowner to make sure they are presenting a marketable product. If he or she said it was out of their control then they don't give a rats whether the house sells or not. As a realtor myself I would invest a few dollars to make this product appealing. If the were smart they would be talking to the owner about how to sell this house. It looks bad! How would you like to buy some?
I would be embarassed as a sales person to put this property in my name. It would make me look like I was desperate.
Just read the previous post, and your own. You said it is the ''bank's responsibility''. Just as it is everyone's responsibility to maintain their property.
Common sense, if you have any, would tell you that in order to sell anything it has to appeal to the buyer. Obviously this and other houses do not. Just use your brain and ask yourself why they don't.
You are insulting the intellegance of your neighbors.

how stupid are you as a realtor
Do you really think a bank really cares about a house with weeds or anything else that might be wrong with the house. Your talking about banks that do billions of dollars a year. You think their going to worry about a $200,000 or $300,000 house. (you are nuts). And your going to invest your own money to put weed and feed on someones grass, just to help sell the house. Let me get my boots on before you do anymore talking. The crap is starting to pile up high. You can put that crap on the persons weeds and grass. Any realtor is going to take any house they can get to sell. Just look at the realestate sales ads. You see realtors with houses from $120,000 to $2,7000,000 that they represent. Your insulting the intellegance of all the other realtors.
