So the mayor got his hands dirty?

Tom all mfour of you;  I do appreciate the fact that you got it done.  But, and that is a BIG BUT, why did the mayor turn down the offer from Metro to paint the speed humps?  I think the mayor likes to "martyr" himself by doing unnecessary things like this.

I have one question:  why are there more lines on one side than on the other?

I tried for two years to get Metro Public Works to repaint them and they refused.

Councileman Ackerson has offered to reimburse us out of the grant money.

We did not want to wait any longer to get the job done at the least cost to the taxpayers.

 The newly painted speed humps look Great!  Thanks to the Mayor and those who helped him.  Also the lines at the new stop signs should remind us to STOP.  GOOD JOB !
