Neighbors on the even-numbered side of North Chadwick appear to have power.  We on the odd-numbered side do not (at least in the 100 block).  That seems to happen often, very often.  What causes that (please don't come back with, "duh, the storm?")?

Power still off; I understand that a line or lines are down at 117 North Chadwick.

I may be way off base here - and I am not being sarcastic in case my explanation just sounds stupid - but . . .

I was wondering if the direction of the wind flow with respect to the storms has anything to do with power outage.  I live on Woodcleft and we usually keep power (east to west power lines) while the house right next to mine and down the street (north to south power lines) do not have power.

We have lost power on the even side of N. Chadwick several times along with our back door neighbors while every one on the other sides of the street have power. One time was for several days. It has to do with the way the power branches down the streets from Shelbyville Road and Whipps Mill.

The outside of the South Hampton/Dorchester loop are on different circuits that the inside core of the loop.
